Questions carriers ask us

Something else on your mind? Send it through the form below or call +1 (708) 512-6184.

Is selling an MC authority legal?

Buying an existing trucking company together with its authority is a common business transaction. The ownership change is documented and reported through the proper filings, which our process covers. We recommend reviewing any agreement with your own attorney.

What do you need from me to start?

Your MC or USDOT number, your name and a way to reach you. Company documents come later, once you accept an offer.

How is the price set?

By the age of the authority, its status, safety and inspection history, and insurance history. Every offer is individual and in writing.

Do I have to sell after I ask for an offer?

No. Asking is free and you can decline at any point before signing.

How long does the transfer take?

It depends on how fast documents are ready and on filing times. You get a realistic timeline together with the offer.
